Solitude Ski Resort offers 1,200 acres of exciting terrain for every ability level across 77 named runs and three bowls. The ski area opened in the fall of 1957 with two chairlifts providing access to most of the area now skied on the front of the mountain. Solitude installed Utah’s first high-speed detachable quad chairlift in 1989. The Village was completed in 2001 by Intrawest Corporation which was brought in to complete the master plan.
Solitude Resort is part of the IKON family of ski resorts and can be skied on a regular lift pass as well as the IKON Pass.
Located 34 miles (54 km) from Salt Lake City International Airport, Solicitude is within easy access to Salt Lake and the other Utah partner IKON ski resorts.
