Alyeska Ski Resort
Alyeska Resort offers 1,610 skiable acres (651 hectares) across 76 named trails and has earned its reputation by offers up a variety of steep, deep and extreme skiing along with open bowls and gentle cruises towards the bottom of the resort. Alyeska gets more than it’s fair share of snow also with over 669 inches (16+ metres) annual snowfall.
There is something for everyone on a trip to Alyeska, if you are into your “steep and deep” then experts will head to the North Face that features North America’s longest continuous double black run. Extremet skiers and boarders can also take a ride into the backcountry right from our private helipad with Chugach Powder Guides.
Intermediate and advanced skiers will enjoy the wide open bowls and long top-to-bottom runs. The tree-lined groomed runs are ideal for the beginners, while freestylers can go wild on the features at either of the terrain parks.

Alyeska Resort is located just 40 miles (64 km) south of Anchorage, Alaska in the town of Girdwood. Convenient access is available at the modern Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC).

The Stizmark Bar & Grill
Built in the 1970’s, the Sitzmark was known as the “hardest working bar in Alaska” because of the amount of guests that would come through during ski season. The Sitzmark at Alyeska Resort has been able to hold on to the nostalgic feeling of what the après ski bar should be; a place where live music, good beer and dining, and great friends all come together to reflect on an incredible day on the slopes.
