What Is The IKON Pass?
The IKON Pass is a multi-resort multi-day pass that connects you to some of the most iconic mountains across the world to ski vacation at. You can now use the IKON Pass at 54 resorts in 11 countries. The main IKON Pass acts the same way as a season pass but there is more to it because you gain access to 14 resorts to ski and ride with unlimited days plus up to 7 days at another 35 resorts worldwide. So in effect, the IKON pass is a 14-resort season pass with another bonus of 7 days at another 40 resorts.
The IKON Base Pass comes at a lower price point with blackout days and offers unlimited skiing and riding at 13 resorts and up to 5 days at another 30 resorts worldwide.
The IKON Base Plus Pass (requires you to invest a little extra but gives you 5 days in total at Aspen Snowmass (5 days combined in Aspen Mountain, Snowmass) Buttermilk, and Aspen Highlands), Deer Valley Resort, Sun Valley, Jackson Hole, Alta and Snowbird (Alta & Snowbird combined 5-day access).
The IKON Session Pass comes in 2,3 and 4-day options and they are available to use at 37 destinations worldwide. With the IKON Session Pass lock in 2 – 4 days of skiing and riding and the days can be whenever you want, they don’t need to be continuous.
How Much Does The IKON Pass cost?
The IKON Pass prices are below. During the year, the price rises by $30 -$50, at various points in the year, to reward you for planning your ski vacation and purchasing early (like when booking a flight – the best price is when you book early) so right now is the best time to buy.
When Can I Purchase An IKON Pass?
Ikon Passes are available to purchase between late April and December each year. So these passes are only available to purchase pre-season. This means they go off sale in late November or early December, and will no longer be available to purchase. IKON Passes go back on sale in late April / May for the following season and the sales cycle repeats.
The IKON Passes work out to be great value as they are a cheaper option than paying last-minute window ticket prices.
