Snowmass Mountain and Snowmass Village are located in the Roaring Fork Valley in west-central Colorado. There are plenty of nonstop flights into the surrounding airports or you can drive into Snowmass.
Visitors fly into either Denver International Airport (DIA) from where there are numerous shuttle services to Aspen Snowmass via I-70 and Colorado Highway 82 or into Aspen Pitkin County Airport (ASE) just 3 miles from Aspen and 6 miles from Snowmass. Aspen is 220 miles (355 km) from DIA.
How To Get The Aspen Snowmass By Air
Via Aspen Pitkin County Airport ASE
When you fly into Aspen-Pitkin County Airport you are less than 10 minutes to Snowmass Village and Aspen Mountain and 5 minutes to Buttermilk. This is one of the most convenient airport transfers for skiing in North America. United, Delta, and American Airlines have nonstop flights from ten major US airports.
During the winter there are 35+ flights per day and 280+ flights per week to choose from.

Via Denver International Airport DIA
Flying in via Denver Airport requires a longer transfer via I-70, Glenwood Springs, and Colorado Highway 82.

Via Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE)
Eagle Airport is located 70 miles (112 km) from Aspen Snowmass and is known as Eagle Country Regional Airport.

Aspen Pitkin County Airport and Eagle County Regional Airport both cater for private jet travel and parking. As you can imagine, you’ll need to book early during peak holiday periods, especially at Aspen Airport.
Parking In Snowmass Village
Free Park & Ride
Town Park / Rodeo Lot
At the entryway of Snowmass Village, there is free day skier parking available at Town Park station with frequent rides directly to the mountain every 10 minutes via the Village Shuttle.
Brush Creek Intercept Lot
Located off of Highway 82 at Brush Creek road, the Brush Creek Intercept Lot provides free parking with frequent shuttle service directly to the slopes.
Snowmass Village Parking Lots
The numbered Village Lots are paid permit parking only during the winter season in Snowmass Village. Lodging guests may obtain parking permits for the numbered Village Lots by visiting this Parking Permits Webpage.
When shopping at the Mall you can enjoy free parking in Lot 6 and the upper portion of Lot 5.
Base Village Parking Garage offers 1 hour of free parking and $5 per additional hour up to a maximum of $30 per day. There is no overnight public parking.
How To Transit Between Aspen Snowmass All Four Mountains
The RFTA or Roaring Fork Transit Authority (which locals simply call “Rafta”) connects riders with all the important points in the valley including between the four ski resorts via its 4 Mountain Connector.
