Breckenridge Private Lessons
One of the fastest ways to improve your skiing and snowboarding at Breckenridge is with a private lesson. You can choose from all-day, AM half-day and, PM half-day private lessons. You can have up to six people in a lesson and so this is where it gets interesting.
You might be a family or a group of friends of similar ability. Or you may be a family or group with varying abilities and looking for more of a more guided Breckenridge with some individual instruction laced in through the lesson.
Both scenarios are perfectly suited to a private lesson. Or you might be on your own and simply want that individual attention.
One of the other huge benefits of a private lesson is it’s a great way to jump the lift lines.
Breckenridge Adult Group Lessons
One of the best things about a Breckenridge ski and snowboard school group lesson is that you get to ski and ride with people of similar abilities so you can feel confident you are in the right place. It’s a great way to meet your friends, gain new skills, learn about the mountain and which runs suit you best plus it’s also a great way to avoid any lift lines.
Adult lessons are available in ski and snowboard in beginner (first timers), intermediate, and advanced so you are with others of the same skill level. There are full-day, half-day AM and half-day PM options. Adult group lesson Locations include Beaver Run, Peak 8, and the Village.
For those super busy peak days, the ski lessons and ride school may be available on dates when lift tickets are unavailable. You can book a lesson and add a discounted lift ticket at checkout.
Breckenridge Child Group Lessons
When kids find themselves in the right environment they tend to thrive. One of the best things you can do to help ensure your child grows up loving their ski and snowboard experience is to sign them up for a ski and snowboard lesson at Breckenridge.
The instructors are specifically trained to create a safe and fun environment with other children of similar abilities so your child or children can learn new techniques, make new friends, and build their mountain awareness and confidence, while you head out and tear up the mountain knowing they are in a safe and professional learning environment.
The child group lessons have small group numbers and run as full-day and half-day AM and PM programs. Meeting locations vary depending on the age of the child so it is best to check in the day before so you know exactly where to drop off your child for their program.
Locations include Peak 8, Village, and Beaver Run.
What Are The Breckenridge Ski Snowboard School Signature Programs?
All Terrain Program
This new All-Terrain Program (ATP) challenges children 7 to 14 years old who are intermediate to advanced skiers and riders and are comfortable on blue runs and above.
Each day is different and the ATP challenge is designed based on the group’s ability, interests, and weather conditions.
At the end of the day, all the ATP participants come together to celebrate their achievements, receive a prize, and possibly make new friends.
Seasonal Youth Programs
If you are lucky enough to live in and around Breckenridge or are there each weekend you can sign your child up full one of the many programs that will help your child develop their skills and confidence throughout the season. Seasonal youth programs include Breck Bombers and the Breck All Mountain Team.
Breck Club
For those lucky enough to be able to spend the season at Breckenridge there is the option of the Adult Ski or Snowboard Club which is 10 improvement sessions delivered over 10 weeks.
Ski Girls Rock
As the name suggests, this is a premium is a program designed for girls aged 7 to 14 to help the young girls build self-esteem and be empowered through developing their skiing and riding skills through group bonding, teamwork, and improving social skills.
These programs are delivered by Breckenridge’s top female instructors.
Women’s Programs
Breckenridge Ski Snowboard School has three women’s programs. Women & Wine, Women’s Camp, and Break Belles. These programs are designed for women, taught by women, and only for women.
Adaptive Programs
Breckenridge offers world-class adaptive programs throughout the season.
Other Programs
For those of you looking for something a little out of the box, Beck has a new offering called Breck Guides.
Under the Breck Guides umbrella, there are a handful of signature programs including Elevate, Explore and Go Beyond. Elevate offers one and three-day programs for skiers and boarders designed to elevate your skills while being guided around the mountain.
You can learn Breck like a local on the Explore program designed to show you the ins and outs of the mountain.
Breck Guides will also take you beyond your limits in their Go Beyond program that is a private one-of-a-kind experience for you and up to five friends, where you’ll see behind the scenes meet with ski patrollers uncover powder stashes and get your heart pumping.

There is great cross country skiing at Breckenridge Ski Resort. The best way to improve your skiing is with a ski lesson. A ski lesson will fast track your improvement and maximize your time skiing.
