How to get to Breckenridge and Summit County
Breckenridge Ski Resort is located in an area known as Summit County in Colorado. It is 104 miles (166km) west of downtown Denver and Denver International Airport (DIA) and the transfer from the airport to the resort is around a 2.5 to 3 hour drive.
Flying into Breckenridge and Summit County
From Denver International Airport (DEN) – Breckenridge is 104 miles (166km) west of Denver International Airport. There are airport-to-resort shuttle services.
From Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE) – Breckenridge is approximately 63 miles (102km) east of Eagle Airport. There is also a Private Jet service available through Vail Valley Jet Center who can assist you with aircraft storage and services.
From Colorado Springs Airport (COS) – Breckenridge is 110 miles (178km) away from Colorado Springs Airport.
Shuttle Service and Transfers
There are daily shuttle transfer services from Denver Airport and Eagle County Airport, SkiBookings.com can arrange group and private shuttle services for you. Driving to Breckenridge
Breckenridge from DIA you take I-70 to exit 203 in Frisco, CO for CO-9. CO-9 South will take you directly into Breckenridge.
Parking At Breckenridge
Daily Resort Guest Parking
Breckenridge Ski Resort operates several parking lots that are managed by Breck Park. With Breck Park you can pay for parking via their app, reserve preferred parking in any of their paid lots, and offer discount carpal codes for vehicles with four or more passengers.
Oversize vehicles and overnight parking is not permitted in Breckenridge Ski Resort lots. The town of Breckenridge can arrange permits for you.
Peak Slopeside Parking
There are paid parking options in South Gondola Parking Structure, North Gondola Light and Gold Rush Lot. You can pay via the on-site kiosks or the smart phone app. You can also park and pay in the Stables Lot and Beaver Run Lot.
There is some free parking available in the Airport Lot just outside the center of town. There is also free transportation to the Breck Connect Gondola which will give you access to Peak 7 & 8.
In Town Free Bus Service
The town of Breckenridge and Breckenridge Ski Resort offer a Free Ride transportation service to the Breckenridge Resort Base Areas and throughout the town of Breckenridge from 6:15 AM to 11:15 PM every day of the year. So it’s easy to go car free in Breckenridge.
Staying Outside of Breckenridge?
The Summit Stage is a county wide free transportation service that connects to all of the Breckenridge in town transportation roots making it easy and efficient to get to the ski slopes.
